CANDLE CARE
Here are some helpful tips for your safety and to get the best use out of your candles.
When you light your candle for the first time keep it lit for 3-4 hours or until the wax gets close to edges of the vessel. This creates a memory for future burns and avoids tunneling leaving wax around the edges of your candles.
Try not to exceed 4 hours of burn time without a wick trim.
It is important to trim your wicks between each light. When a wick gets too long it cannot draw wax all the way up to the top so the wick itself will start to burn. By trimming your wicks before each use, you will get a longer and cleaner burn.
Never leave a candle unattended or in reach of children, pets, or anything that could easily catch fire.
Always light your candle on a steady, stable surface
Do not burn your candles all the way down to the very last drop of wax. When your candle has about a 1/4 inch of wax left, you can recycle the vessel or have it refilled. If there is not enough wax left to absorb the heat, your jar could overheat and potentially crack.
